For desktop Internet users, e-mail may be playing second-fiddle to the likes of Facebook and social games like FarmVille, but on mobile devices, e-mail is still number one.
The study also finds that people are using social networks to replace e-mail. Still communication.
I like to see mobile devices as remote controls for our lives. But I may have this wrong. They may remain communication devices.
